Bath salts are a great gift to give and can be made at home. They are also easy to make and inexpensive, especially if you have a lot of people to buy for!
They are also great to use for anyone with sore, achy muscles.
What you will need:
Jar with a sealed lid or stopper to help keep them dry.
Epsom salts, 1 cup
Sea salt, ½ cup
Baking soda, ¼ c
Essential oil of your choice, 3-4 drops
Optional: food coloring, 2-3 drops

Some of my favorite essential oils to use are lavender, lemon, and peppermint.
Lavendar is great for relaxation. Peppermint is great for tension headaches and stuffy noses. I just really like the smell of Peppermint personally. Lemon is great to use as an energy booster.
There are many different kinds of essential oils. They can be found at dollar stores, craft stores, retail giants, etc.

To Make Your Bath Salts:

  • Combine all of the above ingredients together in a bowl and gently stir.
  • Put the salts into your jar.
  • Add a bow or label to personalize your gift!
