As part of Publix Pharmacy Diabetes Management System, you can get up to a 30-day supply of generic immediate-release Metformin (500mg, 850 mg, and 1000 mg) free. 120 tablets of metformin 500 mg or 90 tablets of metformin 850 mg and 1000 mg. Ask your Publix pharmacist if a generic option is available for your medication. On average, generics can save you 30-60%, so make sure to consult with a pharmacist about your options.

Diabetes Screening is very important to know if you have diabetes. Publix Pharmacy offers free diabetes screenings in partnership with CholestCheck, a health screening services company.
